      Terrible Upper Management and Useless Project Management

      Pros

      Used to be okay workplace until our team received people who are not technical in charge of our project which seems more commonplace of PennyMac than anything.

      Cons

      Upper Management has no idea what they are doing when it comes to IT. ZERO clue. They keep hiring business people as the leaders of IT so the leaders really don't even understand the tech they are building at all. And because of this they think putting money into Project Management will fix this problem but now Project Management gets in the way of all the processes. So Project Management is a waste of money and of course it's not going to help with all these glaring holes in roles, understanding what to build, attempting to micromanage but they don't know what they are micromanaging. Awful awful awful.

      Pros

      The expresso for all employees here are very nice treats.

      Cons

      Pretty low pay for hard work, long hour with consistent multiple deadlines and pressures. Management are not helpful. There are unfair treatments and unethical practices present.
