Stuck in the "this is how we've always done it" mindset. Change is not on the daily agenda here and suggesting improvements and realizing new ideas is hard and is perceived negatively. The engineering team needs a culture/mindset change towards a constant improvement & change culture.

Cons

Management as a whole seem to care more for their California employees and don't really care about their Texas employees. The HR in Texas takes the side of management and really isn't there for the employees at all.
