Some individuals genuinely excel in their roles and put forth exceptional effort.

Cons

Many senior directors and most C-level leaders lack industry experience or technical expertise in the teams they oversee. Recommendations are often ignored, and budgets are diverted to pet projects, leaving well-documented enterprise improvements to stagnate. The lack of advancement opportunities means that most positions are effectively dead ends, as leadership roles are typically filled by external hires.
