Pros

Good pay for the area

Cons

CEO will assault you. You will be hazed. You will be forced to endured awkward harassment. And in the end, you will have little to show. His leadership has only ever worked for him - check their LinkedIn profiles - and they don’t know they can be respected and valued. They are twisted with fear and it takes the form of anger and resent rampant across the organization. This is a good place for you if you don’t have ambition or a career behind you. You’ll learn a lot, the hard way. You’ll learn what not to do next. If you’re mid career, this place is poison. Everything you read about the Trump White House or Elon Musk, it is playing out here on a smaller scale. The employees in the new Indianapolis office seem much happier - and they’re all solid. Career professionals want a challenge, but they want to know they’re facing challenges as a team, with leadership that values them. For current employees reading this: you aren’t worthless, you are just in an abusive relationship. Consider other options.

Pros

The pay is generally above average. Probably because they have to in order to keep anyone.

Cons

I would speculate that if you see a good review of this company from a current employee, they were probably either threatened into it or paid off to do it. That's just how creepy the management is in this company. I found the managers to be a unique mix of severe Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Passive Aggressive Personality Disorder. They will purposely put up roadblocks to your success and then gloat about it while checking their hair in the mirror. The business model is ridiculous and the CEO thinks he's Bill Gates. Whatever they tell you they value, it's the opposite.

Pros

I've worked at a number of large, publicly-traded international organizations and working at PFL has been a far more rewarding and pleasant work experience. No bureaucracy, no politics, just a transparent and hard working executive team passionate about their business, customers and the employees who make it all happen. Family and pet friendly environment is a huge bonus. Great top down and lateral communication flow, close-knit staff and a degree of humanity so often lost in growing businesses. Truly an entrepreneurial company with a "go go go" spirit in everything they do which creates an exciting and fast-paced environment. If you're willing to roll up your sleeves, learn, grow, achieve and succeed than this is the place for you.

Cons

Not for people who want to do the same thing every day or for people who can't/won't function outside of their job description.
