Pros
Some of the nicest, most genuine people you will ever meet. Employees really do go out of their way to teach and help you with problems you encounter while on the job.
Cons
Lean organization leads to an additional workload. If you're not looking for a fast-paced environment, PIMCO is not the place for you. I think a lot of employees tried to put on their "work face" and look like they loved working at PIMCO when the opposite may very well have been true if you talked candidly with anyone.
