Strong international company

Pros

Solid financially, diversified, great benefits, generally good working environment, cutting edge technologies and very few competitors in industry. Total control of supply chain allowing for strong margins.

Cons

Management settles for mediocrity, rarely looks to improve operations, sales effort or customer satisfaction. Leadership is very absent from day to operations and basically has no clue as to how the business is really running. Fails to recognize own employees for career advancement. Fails to recognize value in employees, especially if your a female.

Solid company - No upward mobility

Pros

The company makes money. Sales have been at an all-time high and continue to climb. The company is stable and solvent. Good benefits.

Cons

There is no upward mobility. Promotions of women are few. It helps to know German. It is spoken in front of non-speakers, which does not build team. Working extra time (no overtime given) does not get you anywhere.

Pros

Exciting, fast paced, challenging projects. Freedom to be actively involved in many business areas. High performing products, high tech services, wide array of high tech industries served. Steady growth. Good job security. Perfect environment for fast learners.

Cons

Management does not value its employees. No commendation for outstanding individual achievements. Annual pay raises are in line with increasing cost of living, but not taking into account job performance, acquisition of new skills, improvements, profitability. Quarterly earnings program is only marginally influenced by employee effort and performance; primarily determined by fluctuations in global economy and resulting sales.
