Pros

The only pro I can think of is that the base salary is decent. Other than that, there are seriously none.

Cons

I find myself to be extremely reasonable and tend to give things the benefit of the doubt but this is the worst job I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had plenty. Extremely unrealistic phone dial goals and if you don’t hit 250 dials per day, the manager will embarrass you in front of everyone. At the end of the day, the manager says a speech that lasts 20 minutes long ridiculing anyone who he wants to. Lots of yelling and belittling his inferiors. He also talks behind peoples back. There’s a reason why they have a new class of 10 employees every two months - they all either quit or get fired. Even if the manager wasn’t a total immature loser who shouldn’t be in that position, this job is still extremely exhausting with absolutely no growth. I know guys who have been there for a couple years and have the same title, pay, etc. as a new employee. The work/life balance is atrocious. Show up at 7am and don’t leave until 4:30-45pm and you have to work weekends. If you’re one minute late the total duts of a manager will embarrass you. Looking back at it this job taught me nothing and was a waste of my time. Please listen to my advice when I say DO NOT THINK ABOUT WORKING HERE. Please do yourself a favor and find something else.

Pros

You can get some cold calling experience for your next job

Cons

The company brings in a new training class every month and only 1 out of every 10 people from each class will still be there after 6 months. They give you a week of training then get you out on the phones. You’ll get experience with making a huge amount of cold calls, but very little experience with quality calls. It seems that their business model with new hires is “throw everything against a wall and see what sticks”. If you’re lucky and get a few customers early on, congrats, maybe you’ll make it to month 7. If not, then they’ll see you out and give whatever customers you’ve attained to the senior AEs. The base pay is decent, but if you’re hoping to get off to a good start with commission, think again. Insanely low commission rates for new hires with barely any of them being their long enough to see a decent commission rate. Also, there’s barely any room for growth other than within the account executive position itself (you can work your way up to senior AE)

Pros

I really like a lot of people I work with, and I've been treated very well here.

Cons

Turnover is high like everyone says. My biggest concern is that the company acts like covid doesn't exist. A few people wear masks to walk around or get close to others. Everyone else doesn't even bring a mask to work. It's a good day if the cleaners stock toilet paper in the bathroom, so I doubt they're sanitizing surfaces or anything. I'm not so concerned for myself as I am for the people in my life that are high risk. I just want to be able to see my family without feeling like I'm a risk to them because of my work environment.
