Cons

The entire business model is fraudulent and requires you to lie to truck drivers all day. Everything is done with the hope of squeezing one more dollar of margin out of idiot customers. Even if you are not a salesperson, you have to hear the account executives repeat the brain-rotting script all day long. Nothing is ever good enough for the managers, they are never satisfied no matter how many loads are moved or how much margin is made. It is the slimiest and sleaziest sales atmosphere you can imagine. Everyone is treated as a pawn, the turnover rate is so high, they expect you to be grateful for every “opportunity” afforded to you. I cannot stress this enough, do not work here.

Recycled leads that have been called 100s of times. Extremely high turnover. Barely get help from senior management On 2% commission to start.

Autonomy, starting with other entry level professionals, opportunity to earn

Dismal atmosphere, extreme executive turnover (new cfo - in some cases multiple) nearly every year over last decade except for ONE who lasted over 3 years - YIKES. Riffs were common (3+ in 4 years of working / bonuses cut week before Christmas in 2016). Middle level management roles are dangerous in “non revenue producing areas” as leadership values sales over operations investments. Proprietary software makes it tough because downtime was frequent. If you scan LinkedIn you will notice tenure figures are short.
