Pros

PLS has a very young work environment and is not afraid to give someone a chance. The offices are in great areas with plenty of things to do around them. That is about the only thing they have going for them.

Cons

PLS is very stuck in it's ways and are not open to change or sticking with trends. Technology is old, website is old and out dated, and they are not open to new strategies or ideas. Upper management does not take the time to know you, or even acknowledge your existence. They have a hard time retaining employees and recognizing talent. Due to micro managing and poor management all together, people have a hard time actually doing their job. They promote the place as such a fun work environment, but do not want to actually do anything to benefit their employees. Some people on the sales floor brag about ripping off customers.

We're disappointed to see you wouldn't recommend PLS. The nature of this industry is competitive and fast-paced and our managers work hard to train and prepare employees to be successful and create great customer experiences. Your feedback will be passed on to management.

Pros

Environment is so so. Very enticing "happy hours" and "potlucks". Some good people there but they'll be gone soon.

Cons

Resume building job. The expectations of making 100 calls a day is so old school and sad that this company is destined to close a few offices. Management has one guy that knows his stuff the other is a perfect brown nose who didn't make it as a salesman (but enough sucking up) got him a management position, weird. Seen people bust their butt with these 100 calls a day and still got canned. Tell you in the interview we'll review after a year, but people barely make it 5 or 6 months. Saw a guy start sales and was gone in 4 months. Training last a week and that's it. If you don't get someone willing to get you ready to sale well you're going to be gone pretty quick. Once you start sales it immediately becomes so negative you grow a passion of distrust and hate for the place. Clique up or be gone should be their motto. If you're not constantly sucking up to stroke egos, goodluck with your job search. Again resume builder. This is not a career job, not even a job if you really look at it. Half the positive reviews are from current brown nose employees. Don't be fooled kids find something better with more opportunity and stability.

Pros

Fun group of people, good base salary, management is nice to get along with

Cons

terrible turn over rate, if you don't hit your goals they fire you on the dot. Goals are pretty unrealistic, have to do all prospecting, cold calling, moving of loads, too much on your plate.
