Good company to work for

Pros

Above average salary, good benefits, really nice colleagues, fun atmosphere, town socials end of month with prizes, food/drinks and get to leave early. Mgmt. sometimes allows us to leave early day before long weekend. Treated better then bigger companies I've worked for where people are numbers. Mgmt. here knows who we are. With the addition of new COO things are positively changing.

Cons

Building, location not great but company is working on fixing things. Moving staff to new office in building, making more space to work and relax, and new owners are fixing up building. Some late nights and development struggles but all in all very happy.

Pros

Always learning new, cutting edge technologies. Moving in the right direction. Salary is good. Great people. Great customers. Near a skytrain station.

Cons

Old ugly office. Having difficulties breaking from old procedures (slow going) because some people are resistent to change. Grew very fast and lots of people have come and gone as a result. Late night software pushes.

Pros

The pay is good, and the company seems relatively profitable and stable. The central location down town Vancouver makes it convenient.

Cons

The neighbourhood is a bit shady--there is often bad smells around outside. A lot of traffic noise outside. Not a lot of local healthy places to eat.
