The salaries are so low and they treat the employees/candidates like desperate people who have no other choice than to work with a salary so below average. They are disorganized and they don't even bother with showing a better facade, not even at the interview level. All they care about is being cheap and I don't recommend you join them unless you are that desperate.

- No documentation - No support at all for developer -Has not had any sort of architectural guidance until recently -tons of legacy software which upper management will NOT rewrite -denial from managers that there are any problems with development -software development is an after-thought -many projects are under-staffed - zero communication between teams -90% of business logic is in the database and currently only 1 DBA has access to it on production or knows how it should work -Creative team there meets with clients regularly and promises timelines without consulting development team - way too much focus on UI/UIX without any other concerns - tons of overtime, threatening atmosphere is you refuse to work overtime -their busy time of year is in the fall and they dont schedule much work for the spring to balance out -developers are constantly the ones told they should fix all the technical issues from the shortcuts they took in the past -sales people are promising ridiculous deadlines -release and operations tend to dictate to developers how software should be developed in many cases even though they have very little knowledge -tendency is that they have a couple of large clients and only those get the resources they need -projects are ALWAYS overdue -they have started to outsource more development overseas citing cheaper costs to investors -they say they have AGILE process buts its not true agile -project managers they hire have no technical background and are given too much authority -their stock price has plummeted and investors are angry so there is a directive to keep releasing new features even though there are huge technical issues on their code base and its very unstable -product import is a separate team there. Mostly staffed by very junior team and they make tons of mistakes importing. Developers are asked to spend countless hours fixed other teams mistakes like this. -only a select few developers are updated of what is going on with the company and this group usually spends some Friday afternoons looking at past developers code and making fun of it (not very constructive)
