Pros

Working here at POET biorefining has been one of the best career moves I have ever made. Went from standing in one spot in a factory for 8-12 hours to doing something I actually enjoy doing. The absolute best part about it is that you have more days off, competitive pay, great benefits, bonuses and much much more. They’re all about TEAM WORK. Best crews working together to get the job done efficiently and safely at the end of the day.

Cons

It’s definitely a much dirtier job than I had before. Once your use to it, it becomes an everyday thing. Changing from days to nights can be a challenge for some that are not use to that kind of schedule. Working here at POET was a huge learning curve as well. I went from automative industry to agriculture and it is tough to adjust to it, over time it starts to make sense.

Pros

Family focused. We are provided with everything we need to do a great job. And they offer us decision making power over our jobs: an entrepreneur mindset.

Cons

I wish there was more visibility to coming changes within the company.
