Not what it seams

Pros

Flexibility to work from home

Cons

Low compensation. Upper Managment is a good old boys club almost exclusively based in Idaho. Middle management is inexperienced. They harp on how important culture is but can't live up to the hype when it truly matters.

Thank you for your honest review. While our roots in small-town Idaho certainly lent themselves to this perception in the past, we are working hard to create a culture that makes all of our employees feel heard and included at POWER. Regarding compensation, we'd like you to know that we are taking the necessary steps when we receive feedback and have hired a compensation manager to ensure that the salary and benefits we offer reflect how deeply we value our employees and meet industry standards. We’re sorry you didn’t find a fit at POWER, but we always appreciate the feedback.

Pros

Great opportunities to breakthrough as a junior engineer if you don't mind the lower pay. Full time work from home.

Cons

No cost of living adjustments, living on Idaho pay. CEO is a joke.

Thanks for the review. Because we focus on long-term stability, we offer compensation we know we can continue to offer long-term—we don’t ramp up and ramp down staffing as workload fluctuates. However, we want you to know that we've hired a compensation manager to relieve any concerns about pay.

Dreaded going into work

Pros

Benefits were good, and nice office.

Cons

Snobby attitudes, low pay, DEI/ESG. Takes a long time to advance. The entire Portland office was unaccepting to people with different views. They also would take anything you say and blow it completely out of proportion. Micro-managing.
