      Pros

      Good benefits, large product portfolio

      Cons

      High pressure environment, lack of industry knowledge at corporate level. Not a good sign when a company has to hire outside consulting firms every 3 to 5 years.

      Not much micromanagement Fair pay Great benefits and bonus opportunities Company car, phone, laptop Opportunity to build many relationships within the work place

      Cons

      Laid off due to market change within the Lowe’s account. I can’t think of any cons to the territory manager position. Maybe stubborn Lowe’s associates?

      Pros

      Some flexibility in leaving work early or coming in late to make various appointments. As long as your store is fully staffed you can take vacation.

      Cons

      Absolutely no care for Store Managers. Upper management stretches you very thin and doesn’t know how to help you be successful with all the different tasks a store manager has. Unless you work 60-70 hours in a bigger store they will put you on probation for falling behind anywhere. With extended hours they are giving us a shared employees which means the employee will spend half the time at a different store.
