Pros

Small facility with multifunctional teams. Interact with all levels of hourly and salary emplyees. Get a broad experience in a short amount of time. Employees care for each other and help out fellow employees in need through management supported bake sales, dinners etc.

Cons

Lots of regulatory requirements without a lot of resources. Asked to do a lot not in your job description. Business management wants projects done fast and cheap without regards to long term or operating costs that plant personnel must live with. Projects are implemented without complete testing or proper project management techniques. Poor professionalism in key areas.
