Pros

No pros to speak of

Cons

This CEO makes the rules up as he goes and they change daily. He denied WFH access to a person with a documented disability claiming it would be a hardship on the company. It should be noted that the company allows people to work from home, though. Tip of the iceberg. You will be a rockstar one day and fired the next. Mark my words…this is not a good place be.

Pros

There is not one single pro about this company.

Cons

Working at Pride Global was an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. The CEO/owner has created an environment that is not just toxic but also deeply misogynistic. From day one, it was clear that this company operates under a frat house mentality, where respect and professionalism are thrown out the window in favor of crude behavior and demeaning attitudes, particularly towards women. The CEO's narcissistic tendencies permeate every aspect of the company culture. He thrives on control and power, using intimidation and manipulation to keep everyone in line. The atmosphere is one of fear, where employees are constantly walking on eggshells, afraid to speak up or challenge the status quo. Unfortunately, the CEO has surrounded himself with a group of ‘yes’ people who are too scared to stand up to him, further enabling his abusive behavior. What makes this even more unbearable is the overt misogyny that runs rampant in the company. The CEO's disdain for women is palpable, and this attitude has trickled down to others in leadership positions. Women are frequently belittled, ignored, and treated as second-class citizens, with no real opportunity for advancement unless they conform to the toxic culture. Adding to the degradation is the company’s bizarre and mortifying initiation ritual, where new hires are forced to sing in front of the entire company on their first day. This humiliating experience is meant to "break the ice," but in reality, it only serves to reinforce the power dynamics and strip individuals of their dignity right from the start. If you're considering working at Pride Global, I strongly advise you to think twice. The environment here is not just unhealthy—it’s dangerous. The combination of a narcissistic, misogynistic leader and a culture that resembles a frat house more than a professional workplace makes this a place where no one can truly thrive. There are far better companies out there that value respect, professionalism, and employee well-being.
