      Low barrier of entry into the indursty

      Cons

      Toxic environment at the local and corporate level. The CEO regularly belittles employees on the company forum for wanting a livable wage including telling a Scientist 3 to get a roommate. Local management forms cliques and makes it impossible to give valid complaints to a supervisor.

      Pros

      Pace is a good place to get experience. They are building their professional development programs and are very involved in employee engagement through newly added ERGs, professional development/networking communities. The people are nice. The work is pretty easy- definitely good for recent college grads. Work life balance is good. Schedule is flexible.

      Cons

      Expectations for advancement are unclear. There is not defined path to get from level 1 to level 2 (ex. Analyst 1 vs Analyst 2). Compensation is not competitive- lots of good talent lost due to below market rate pay packages and lack of clear career progression.
