I worked in the hospital for x31 years and it was very difficult to leave, but I finally found a new place to work, which is Pacific Home Care which gave me an opportunity to still help people because that’s what I like to do. I love learning about New things and working with new types of clients like autism and learning and seeing life through their eyes. But also giving the parents a chance to have a break and take care of themselves because I know how hard it is as it’s a 24 hour job with most families.. I have a wonderful, caring, compassionate boss who treats me with kindness and respect, and that’s a much refresher than working in a big hospital when you’re usually overlooked so I really appreciate that especially at my age.. but all of the employees that I have encountered have been fabulous and wonderful and very caring towards the clients as well as the staff’ as they to love helping people as I can tell and they appreciate their employees and care provides. I have worked for this company about a 1yr & 1/2 and I absolutely love it. I recommend this job to anyone who loves making a difference in others lives. I have 3 families I have been with for a year and 1/2 and I can say they are wonderful. I can absolutely see the difference from when I am there to when I'm not. Everyone needs someone to help at times and I'm glad I have the opportunity to do so.
