I work a full-time and this is a great part-time job that fits my personality and my schedule. I get to work autonomously and have been able to get placements customized around my location during the week for my job and during the weekend in the city I actually live in. What's nice is before a potential placement happens, providers can meet with clients and families before final decisions are made, to make sure that everyone is comfortable, the fit is good and the schedule works for everyone. It's a good part-time job if you like working with kids and meeting new people of all backgrounds. It is also extremely flexible with my lifestyle and the office staff is laid-back and easy to work with.

Cons

It really is a PART-TIME job; I supposed you could try to manage full-time hours but I'm not sure how manageable that would be. A con might be if you're not comfortable working autonomously or if that's a new experience it may be intimidating to some. I don't think there's much in the way of advancement but again it's a supplemental job.
