Not about performance

Pros

Work life balance is ok

Cons

Your chance of getting promoted or recognized has little to do with your performance, rather your ability to please your managers and if you have the right look to fit their ideal image. Most managers do not care or pretend to listen. It’s not a healthy environment to be in. Life is too short to waste your time in such a company. Don’t get brainwashed by their benefit and wellness programs etc. That’s just a distraction from the real problems.

Pros

Was a good company that treated employees like family.

Cons

Once you are close to retirement you are let go due to company initatives. They then replace you with lower salary employees.

Pros

The pay is solid, and if you’re lucky, you might get to work with the few teammates who haven’t jumped ship yet. They’re smart, supportive, and probably wondering why they’re still here too.

Cons

Turnover this year has been extreme. The return-to-office mandate has left remote-eligible team members feeling uncertain and undervalued. We recently lost another top-performing, highly knowledgeable colleague who was a key resource for the team. Work-life balance is virtually nonexistent. The Site Reliability Engineering team consistently pushes initiatives that add little to no value, and the Development Excellence Team has caused multiple production outages by implementing policy changes without proper communication to impacted teams. Overall, the environment feels chaotic, reactive, and unsupportive.
