Culture is ruined

Pros

None, used to be great.

Cons

Management is ruining this company. The 4x a week RTO is killing the culture and work life balance. After selling one of the buildings and reinforcing how important hybrid and remote work was to the company they fully went back on their word and now are enforcing a return to the Newport Beach office 4x a week. Meanwhile, some members of the management committee making this decision are remote employees themselves which is extremely hypocritical. Newport Beach is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. Many people moved to more affordable places and are now forced to decide between losing their job or commuting multiple hours a day. The company as a whole proved we were more productive in a remote/hybrid setting the past 5 years. There has already been a ton of turnover and many valuable employees have left the company.

Questionable management

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

As others have mentioned, the current management is detrimental to the company’s culture. Many employees were forced to relocate or resign. Notably, they disregarded an ADA accommodation for my disabled colleague, which ultimately led to his resignation.

We understand that relocation may be challenging for the small percentage of our team affected, and we are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and compliant workplace for all employees. While we’re unable to address individual situations here, we encourage any employee with a concern to connect with their HR Business Partner or share feedback through internal channels such as our Pulse Survey, Coffee Chats, Town Halls, and other engagement opportunities with senior leaders. We’re here to listen and support where we can.
