Pros

Location is awesome. Great for working parents. Nice 401k. Awesome community outreach program and matching gift donations to non-profit. Convenient on site cafeteria... not the best tasting food, but convenient.

Cons

No management accountability. Very high school. Your advancement is dependent on popularity and not skills or abilities. Management prefers looks over technical skills. YES, LOOKS! I have personally been a victim of sexual harassment by a manager and he is still here...being inappropriate. HR is a joke. A bunch of hens acting like they are here for you and take your concerns very seriously. All the while, they are reporting everything back to the manager and together start building a case against you. Company supposedly has a strict "no retaliation" policy. But from personal experience that is not the case. You are an instant target once you knock on their "open door". Come review time, everyone is asked to comment on you and you are never asked to comment on others or management.

Pros

Training, people, stability. Will pay you for almost a year of training and get you securities lic. Good benefits, great location in Newport Beach. Clear path for promotions (2-3 promotions within first 3 years). Lots of people from area go on to other roles within the company.

Cons

Have to learn an incredible amount of information even with the lenghty training. Standards are extremely high for how you work with customers. Significant product changes every 3-6 months.
