Pros

Challenging work with great co-workers. Opportunity to stretch into new skills. Pay is normal to slightly above normal for the industry and benefits are ok.

Cons

Limited infrastructure to support employees. Little training and limited growth potential. Pockets within the company have good morale, while others have really poor morale, very dependent on who the manager is and how supportive they are.

Lack of strategy, leadership and direction. Constant org. changes. No autonomy. Everything is controlled by RANK group. Heavy cost focused and cost cutting.

Good, hard working people in the manufacturing facilities. Good insurance and 401k match. Decent pay. Take safety seriously.

Cons

Expected to be available 24/7. Responsibilities that are normally handled by several people at most companies are expected to be covered by one person at Pactiv. Completely unreasonable work loads. Poor work environment at all levels of the organization. Upper management doesn't deal with issues; they simply sweep the issues under the rug.
