Upper management does not recognize the hard work of the hourly employees. Pactiv senior management when walking on the plant do not recognize employees "don’t even look at them". All focus is on safety and tons of useless paperwork. Removing of personnel causes more work for others. Meeting after meetings not enough time to encourage employees to succeed. Lack of communication on tasks and last minute decisions are often the norm. PPS “Pactiv Production System” is a waste of time. Lots of hours there is no home work environment it’s all about WORK WORK WORK. The lean manufacturing concept is only a way to cut cut cut employees and do more work with fewer employees. Mid management is well overwork. The mid managements left at the plant are looking for a way out. Removed the bonus plan we had with Dopaco soon after Pactiv acquire them.
