Pros

* Very solid NGFW product with great customer coverage * A lot of talented and hardworking people *Cutting-edge technology in its core product

Cons

Don't even know where to start, but PANW has the worst company culture that I have ever seen: 1. Managers and supervisors are have zero understanding of the business, also no patient to learn from people who work in the front line. They have absolutely no sense of the workload and time needed in each project, and assign projects based on their naive and arrogant feeling. 2. Non-stop internal politics, endless retaliation and abuse of power. 3. Don't ever speak up and wish to make changes to this organization. Your manager will humiliate you, sell you and ruin you 4. Please do keep all email transactions, and record every zoom call. It won't be a surprise some day you will use those evidences in some labor violation lawsuits.

Pros

I was paid well. Commission paid monthly. Great benefits. Had a great leader for two years. Great hardware firewall. Great endpoint protection. Good Analytics. Account manager I was paired with was great. Lots of company events. Customers loved the hardware based firewall. Good training.

Cons

You might never get a raise. 401K match of $1000 per year is pathetic. Unless your the number one rock star no additional RSU's will ever be granted. Stock purchase is capped each year. Last boss was a disaster and micromanaged everything. Caught him in lies several times. I was asked to do several unethical things with clients by last manager. When I informed the VP I was told I should leave. Management has no integrity and there word changes all the time. Ask for promises in writing or you'll get screwed. Untrustworthy managers with little to no experience. Little to no revenue on renewals. Sink the speedboats, they are useless. Salespeople know there customers best, listen to them.

Pros

You'll learn about what HR does and what an attorney can do to protect you from this company. Retaliation happens often, if you want a chance at suing the company for damages, this is the place for you!

Cons

This place is hiring aggressively for a reason and most hiring managers (not the recruiter) will try and sell you on promises of an opportunity, but then take it away immediately. Are you looking to destroy your career? Join this company! Cronyism/nepotism is so strong in the workforce that there are massive amounts of unqualified people working in roles FAR FROM THEIR SKILLSETS!!! There's also a level of insecurity that management reaches, if you ever offer advice in good faith, YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE HARASSED SOON AFTERWARDS.
