Pros

The pay is great. The hours can be good. You get free food. There are also really good benefits. Lots of promotional opportunities.

Cons

The management isn't the best. The team work just isn't there. You work hours straight sometimes with no break because there's not enough help in the store for you to be able to go on a break. Managers chose favorites and sadly, if you're not a favorite, you'll get no hours, no bonuses, and bad 6 month pay raises. I've worked at panda for almost a year now and my store has already had 6 different managers. This also makes the job more difficult because no one is really on the same page which causes fights between coworkers and just a bunch of drama. I like the job part and the customers are nice for the most part. It's the inside "help" that is a problem. They down the good hard workers and praise/promote the terrible ones. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone

Pros

-associates get free meals when working -opportunities for pay increase as you gain skills. -promotions are also an opportunity -discounts when not working.

Cons

-my manager was not the nicest. she told me she decreased my hours because apparently having your co-workers talk to you (as in they approached me, and i continued working ) counts as being too much of a distraction. so basically i was given less hours for not hating my coworkers.... ps she ended up increasing THEIR hours, what a load of crap. Also she promised to start my transfer papers two months in advance and when i got to the new place the guy had never heard of my requested transfer prior to meeting me! the job its self is stressful, hot, and tiring. lines form and dont end at night, you dont even have a chance to drink water sometimes for 5 hours straight until your ten minute break. then you have to go back into the heated abbyss of crabby customers .
