      Pros

      The other workers are very nice. It is usually pretty busy and makes you day go by quicker. Flexible schedule over time.

      Cons

      Promoting from within is crap. No matter how good a worker you are or how long you work there if you upset one person you will be quickly booted out. They dont fire ppl they drop hours to nothing or ship you to another store to get you to quit so they dont have to pay unemployment. Some managers are very sexist and make improper comments to employees. If you say anything you get shipped out so that you will quit. The cultural values that panera suppose dly "lives" by are also crap.

      Pros

      9 dollar starting pay can be a great beneficial start to being your first job. 65% discount means you get to have some good food at a decent price.

      Cons

      Panera is a booming business as was chipotle and starbucks and as such can create HIGH stress environments with how many people are coming in and out as well as the number of requests you receive.

      Pros

      The employee discount on bread and bakery products means you can get really fresh bread at the same price as stuff from the grocery store. I was also paid above minimum wage at the time.

      Cons

      When you're the new kid, expect less-than-ideal shifts, both in terms of placement and time. At the minimum wage level (kid after school, etc), you're going to have to deal with being at the very bottom of the totem pole.
