      Cons

      no mentoring, poor management, no schedule flexibility, not allowed to listen to music with earbuds, hard to move up

      Pros

      If you are lucky enough to end up with a good project manager or project engineer then you will learn a lot. PD has done a good job about getting great projects that are unique and interesting. Again you have to be lucky enough to be on the teams that get the interesting projects.

      Cons

      Vice-presidents talk and treat you like your 13. Don't expect to go out in the field or have any communication with contractors. You will not have any hands on experience. No flexible schedules, no head buds, slow computers.

      Pros

      Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. and its officers truly appreciate the importance of the work/home life balance. They have created a family oriented environment both in and out of the office. Most teams have established a real comradery or “family-like” bond that makes for a very enjoyable, gratifying workplace. Pape-Dawson holds/sponsors several different social clubs or events because they understand that the social atmosphere of a work place is equally important as the professional setting. Pape-Dawson prides itself on its character and moral integrity which is made clear by its long lasting professional relationships and its community involvement.

      Cons

      Not really a con but; if your work ethic is careless or halfhearted Pape-Dawson might not be the right fit.
