Project managers are experienced in civil design and very familiar with the codes and regulations pertinent to their fields. Management does an excellent job in developing young engineers and familiarizing them with civil engineering design standards and guidelines. Promotions come often as a new employee. Managers are more than willing to give you time off to spend with family as long as quality work is being completed in a timely manner.
