Pros

Working for Pape-Dawson has shown me just how personable and family-oriented a company can be. They truly believe in a balance between work and personal life because they understand the importance of family and well being. Even among coworkers there is a community bond because we all help, support, and guide one another through projects and tasks. Pape-Dawson understands it's the people that make up the company and together we create a mutually beneficial relationship with each other, our clients, and our community.

Cons

This is a relatively fast-paced work environment, so if you're lackadaisical you may want to look elsewhere.

Updated software, good perks, warm welcome

Cons

Lack of supportive management. No professional/annual review. Raise was automatic without review. QC was non-existent. Any mistakes will be counted as strikes against you without follow-up or much discussion about what went wrong. Drawing standards are still in limbo. Stagnant office culture. Don't work here if you're looking for a mentor. Odds are you won't find one.

Company provides current engineering software and has all the right connections with various governmental entities and private developers. Peovide opportunity to move around from different groups.

Cons

Not much advancement unless you are in with the right crowd. Company has a habit of promoting people who don't know much!!!
