Paradigm Health Response

Thank you for taking the time to add a review! We love to receive feedback (especially constructive feedback!) which helps us continuously improve toward our vision, first and foremost, of being the Employer of Choice! It’s great to see you list a few pros including that you work for a “compassionate” organization with a “family” environment. These characteristics that you mention our important to the unique and uplifting culture we have at Paradigm! When it comes to the cons mentioned, I hear you. If you have time I would love to meet with you at your convenience to go into more detail about what we are trying to do. Likewise, I would also love to hear any additional constructive feedback or solutions you may be thinking of. Many of our best ideas over the years stem from having conversations with our team members! When it comes to health insurance you have my word, we are continuously trying to make this better. We know how important this is to you, me, and presumably many Paradigm team members. Over the past few years, we have been able to drastically increase the percentage of health insurance premiums Paradigm covers for the employee and for his/her family. With that said, we also understand the challenges of rising healthcare costs and we will continue to assess how we can make a difference for our team. In the meantime, I know there are some benefits available through our insurance provider. If you haven’t already, I would encourage you to reach out to Jaymie with HR to learn more about the benefits available and how to maximize your cost savings! Also, thank you for mentioning work/life balance and on-call. We know how important it is to everyone to find a good balance. “Work hard, play hard,” right? But seriously, our team does such a fantastic job taking care of each other, our patients, their families, and our community partners. It’s imperative that we do everything we can as an organization to take care of YOU. This is why our first goal is to strive daily to be the Employer of Choice! We know you have many options of where you choose to work. We know you want to feel appreciated, heard, and supported. We know you want to work somewhere that is advocating for your work/life balance! If we (the employer) can take care of you the way you deserve, then in turn you will be better prepared to take care of our patients! As you mention “on-call” in your review, I am guessing you are a nurse. For illustrative purposes, I will respond under this assumption, but again, if this response does not apply to you or you have additional feedback, please reach out to me if you feel comfortable doing so! We are never satisfied or complacent when it comes to trying to be better for our team. We have lots of continued work ahead to keep striving to be the Employer of Choice! As it stands today, for example, we average one RN case manager per 11 patients. Yes, some have higher caseloads and some less… but we know how important it is to maintain feasible caseloads so we can truly make a difference in the lives who have trusted us with their care! We are trying to aggressively recruit to continue to support our team. Recruitment has become more challenging over the last few years, but I assure you we are working on it. If you have any leads or contacts you think would be a great fit for our team and our culture, I would love to hear from you! Similarly to RN case manager ratios, we have worked hard to invest in multiple admission nurses, LPN support, on-call staff, etc. We have taken these steps to attempt to protect work/life balance but I know we can keep finding new ways to make it even better! Currently, our average nurse works 3 backup on-call shifts per month but we would love to get to a point where our regular daytime team members don’t work backup on-call at all! It’s something we have thought about and if/when the right time comes, I would not be shocked for us to transition in that direction. Again, we know how important this is to presumably all nurses… you need and deserve this time to be with family, enjoying your hobbies, and so forth. We need you (and all of this Paradigm family) to keep communicating with our leadership team! Keep the ideas and solutions coming! Again, I appreciate your review. If you are (or were) a part of this team, I thank you and appreciate you for choosing to work with Paradigm and for making a difference! Please feel free to reach out anytime to connect, I would love to hear from you! Andrew COO with Paradigm Health
