Pros

One of the best perks of working at Viacom is the work/life balance. Summer Fridays is a great example. When I worked there we got every other Friday off in the Summer.

Cons

The biggest downside I experienced while working there was the pace of personal/professional advancement, by which I mean it was non-existant. I worked there for several years without a pro-motion in title.

Pros

Viacom is a place where employees are truly passionate about what they do and creativity is the driving force of the company. Viacom has an experienced senior exec staff and knows how to create short and long-term value. We are in good hands.

Cons

Sometimes the programming can be edgy and with that comes a negative reaction from the public, which puts what you do in a negative light.
