Big name company for your resume/good work experience

Cons

Being that MTVN is a very large company, it's no suprise that they are not very nimble. Progress is slow and ideas need to be heavily sold-in to management as there is a lot of resistance to change. If you are looking for a creative and smart environment, this is not it. Also, the pay is not competitive and raises are negligible.

Great work / life balance, great benefits, fair compensation, laid-back atmosphere, fun employee events, corporate management encourages and supports volunteerism. Last but not least - great people.

Cons

Resources have been cut back over the past couple of years, like every company, in response to the downturn in the economy, so hours have been a bit longer than they used to (everyone is expected to do more with less). Hopefully this will improve once the economy turns around again.

Really FUN place to work with lots of smart people in the VERY hot market of video games and online games in the social media space with super hot IP. Our company does both the AddictingGames and Shockwave sites that driven millions of users to our products. Everyone here is driven to do really good work, the Senior Management team is very open in communication to all employees at all levels and encourages high participation of all. You are given the tools you need to get your job done and also the room and flexibility to get it done your own way without a lot of hand-holding or micromanagement. I love it here!

Cons

Not really much that is negative to say, its the best place I have worked in my recent career experience.
