Worst company I've ever worked for

Pros

What pro? This place sucks

Cons

Out of all the entertainment companies I've worked for - Paramount is truly the worst. Ever since the Skydance merger, it went from bad to worst. Sr Management doesn't care about their employees, constant layoffs, 5 days RTO, no promotion, bonus being cut because they overpaid for WBD. Morale is low and productivity is way down. Nobody wants to be here, if they say otherwise, they are lying. Employees who have real skills are looking for a way out and the lifers are stuck.

Pros

-Since it’s in-house, the work feels so much less stressful and lower stakes since we’re not dealing with clients. There’s more flexibility to be creativity, especially in performance marketing. -Free Paramount+

Cons

-Only managers and above get unlimited PTO -five days in the office now -Growth is basically nonexistent after the Skydance merger (all promotions on my team were denied, despite us taking on extra work due to people being laid off months ago) -pay is extremely low compared to industry average
