Pros

There is no doubt that I worked with the most professional, helpful, and hardworking people in the media and entertainment business. They helped me grow from a Web Developer to a Senior Software Engineer. I've met people in my team that I would now consider as part of my family, and I will never forget them (fellow engineers, fellow QA team members, project managers, UI/UX, and scrum masters). They are open to new technology that can improve user experience as well as employee growth. The work/life balance has been amazing. I'm able to take care of the critical needs of my family during my time there. The benefits have been one of the best: medical, dental, vision, insurance, stocks, and a bonus. Also, the company has a great culture that promotes family events, helping the community, and promoting advancement for minorities like me.

Cons

After the merger, the company has just stopped caring about the loyal employees. We've faced many layoffs before, and management has done a good job saving my role and my colleagues by moving us to other teams. However, when the new owner tried to save money by forcing employees that can't work remotely to quit, he still had the ones who opted to go back to the office to be laid off. I still want to be thankful for all the people I've worked with and the bosses I've had, but loyalty doesn't seem to be rewarded in this company.

Pros

- Some of the teams have great people to work with - Interesting projects - Decent health insurance coverage

Cons

- 5 days mandatory RTO with enforced badging, including for those who don't live near an office - Upper management is not trustworthy - Low compensation for 5 days in-office - Benefits are pretty lacking, especially when compared to other tech companies - Lots of micromanagement going on (CEO is not Bob Bakish anymore, it is David Ellison)
