Pros

Parkview has a generous paid time off policy as long as you work at least 24 hours a week. The health insurance deductions from your check are reasonable.

Cons

Parkview culture, it's very conservative in every way. It takes a lot of time for changes to happen and sometimes the focus that they want you to take for patients is superficial (make sure you say key words to patients). There are no benefits if you work less than a 0.6.

More than enough time on the clock was available

Cons

They allowed employees that have worked there for several years to walk around a do nothing for several hours at a time with out any repercussions. They expected the new hires to pick up any and all slack that the other individuals would leave behind. Which in turn would add to the work load that I would have to do. When I went to management about this they not only did nothing to fix the situation but they informed the employee who it was that informed them of the situation in the first place. Which in turn created a hostile work environment. There is a lot more I could add to this section.

Pros

The floor staff members are great! Friendly and fun working environment. Always someone there to help when needed. Benefits and vacation time decent.

Cons

Management is extremely shady. If you're not a favorite you have to watch your back. Inconsistent policy enforcement. Pay on they lowest end of salary range.
