Pros

great health insurance, other company benefits are great (employee assistance program, my well being, etc)

Cons

terrible pay unless you're clinical like a nurse or MA. extremely toxic environment. clinical staff treats non-clinical staff horribly. company had a terrible response to COVID. There was an outbreak in the building I worked in and they didn't make us aware/did not get time off to get tested. Coworker showed up to work despite making it clear she was having COVID symptoms and later got a positive test result. No reprimand was given for coming to work with obvious symptoms that she told others about. The point system for absences is awful. You get a point every time you call off/leave early. If you're a full time employee you only get 8 points a year or you're fired. HR is only there to protect the company image, not actual coworkers, even when there is serious offenses happening.

Pros

Great experiences and good learning opportunities. I have learned so much here. The benefits are the best I have found in the area. So much potential.

Cons

-Cronyism rules king here so better like having your nose covered in brown to get beyond where you start at. Do not rock the boat or you won't be able to transfer departments either. -The rules are not standardized and based on the whims of supervisors. -Pay raises are not based off of merit either but some committee that decides how much your department gets.

Pros

Lots of jobs always available. Unfortunately they keep increasing the requirements to be eligible for transfer and those requirements are not explained to you prior to accepting a position. They continually repeat the opportunities Parkview provides but make it incredibly difficult to take advantage of those "opportunities".

Cons

HR is very misleading on benefits. They purposely omit that all holidays when the departments are closed (approx. 8 days a year) you are required to use your own PTO for. Yearly raises are minimal and they constantly change the criteria for said raises, resulting in months of delays in actually receiving them. 2 chances for a company wide 1k bonus each year but rarely ever happens. Very few coworkers (outside of RN and other clinical positions) actually end up doing the work described in their job description.
