Thank you for your commitment to our families and children at Partners in Excellence. It truly is an honor to touch the lives of our clients and their families. Due to the nature of our work, the turnover can be higher compared to other jobs not in the human service field. As a whole, Partners in Excellence has lower turnover rates for the human service field, compared to the rest of the area. We pay competitively based on the current market rate as well as years of experience. We are committed to creating a comfortable, transparent, and collaborative environment for all employees. Our training is comprehensive and we review our processes to make room for improvement. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss any further concerns. I can be reached at Dthomas@pieofmn.com & my door is always open. We are always striving to make Partners in Excellence a better place and are always open to suggestions. Thank you for your time and review. Sincerely, Deb Thomas Owner & CEO

Pros

I absolutely loved working with the kids and my co-workers at Partners. There was nothing more satisfying than coming to work and laughing or giggling multiple times a day, seen the progress in a child's abilities, or having each day be a different experience than the day before.

Cons

This company, however, like many others in this field, offers little to no opportunity for growth for it's employees. Besides those in administration, there are only maybe 3-4 different types of positions employees can have working there. Most new employees come into the company with the same title and same responsibilities, but it's not easy to move out of that position. And whether you're in that position for 5 months or 5 years, the pay most likely will hardly change. Other 'higher up' positions have had the same people holding those positions for years, which may or may not be a bad thing, but it shows that they don't have many options to move up in the company as well, and newer employees won't get the chance to fill their shoes. The company cycles through employing tons of new college graduates every summer because the 'drop-out rate' of employees leaving after a year or two fairly high. So even though it's a company worth getting to know, some major revising is needed of their employee growth system.

Thank you for your commitment to our families and children at Partners in Excellence. It sounds like Partners in Excellence was truly a “Life Changing Experience” for you, just as our mission promises. We take pride in being a leader in staff training and development, and value how important it is to reach career goals. Here at Partners in Excellence, we offer opportunity to grow from Behavior Therapist, to Lead Behavior Therapists, into Program Team Lead and beyond. We recognize the importance of career growth and do our best to offer opportunities to improve and grow so advancements can be made when appropriate. Due to the nature of many of our positions, we attract adults that have recently graduated and are looking to gain experience. Additionally, this may mean that these adults show so much interest in the field that they discover they want to further their education in the field of Autism. We can promise that our Leadership team is always looking for the right individuals to make an impact on this special population we serve. We hope that you know that we value and consider all feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. We welcome any new ideas that can help Partners in Excellence become a better place! Please feel free to contact me by emailing Dthomas@pieofmn.com so that we can set up a time to discuss your ideas for making Partners in Excellence a better place. Sincerely, Deb Thomas Owner & CEO

Pros

A great time working with clients and fellow coworkers. Supervisors are all pretty great or understanding as well.

Cons

Revolving door with fellow coworkers, seems like a new bunch everyday. Owners really only seem to care about whats best for themselves, when their low on clients they will get rid of you without hesitation.
