The work we do matters and we have the ability to make big impacts in many key areas of the company. We have stayed small and nimble and are focused on serving our customers. People are passionate and invested. Most team members have direct access to the leadership team and are encouraged to interact regularly. Leadership offers multiple touchpoints to learn about company performance, goals, and areas of growth. The leadership team listens when we talk.

Cons

There is more work than hours in the day. And so many big growth opportunities it is hard to know which to focus on. Many roles are 'one of one' so having the right person in the chair is utterly critical. And yes, far too many meetings.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The company was actively working on ways to improve employee engagement and improve the culture.

Cons

I was only there 10 months before they eliminated my position. The supervisor that I was hired in under had only been there for about 16 months before they eliminated his position. Sounds like they are quick to just lay people off when they want to make room in the budget - and they were plenty profitable so there is little true justification for that, in my opinion. After my supervisor was laid off, I reported up directly to the CTO who ignored me constantly.

Pros

Highly motivated team who are in the fight together. Passions run high because everyone wants our company to grow and succeed. We are focused on attacking the affordable health care crisis in the US by pulling cost out of the system in parts, maintenance agreements, and on demand service. I am motivated and energized to come to work (almost) every day. I have high trust in my leaders and my colleagues. We are in this thing together. And we are getting better every single day.

Cons

Small company with small company issues. We are disrupting industries and disruption is painful. Growth has been a challenge and often times we have more work than people to complete it. But that is one of those "good problems".
