Unprofessional Company - Do Not Recommend

Pros

There is good work/life balance.

Cons

There is good and bad in every company; but this company has more bad than good. I've worked for many respectable companies, and I have never seen such unprofessional behavior in the workplace - inappropriate gifts, amateur procedures, poor mid-level management, false accusations and little support from senior management. My experience with mid-level management was extremely awkward. My experience demonstrated that the company supports these managers using humiliating and intimidating practices to keep employees quiet. The benefits are also not good. Overall, I don't think this is a good company for anyone who is familiar with a certain level of professionalism and employee support.

Soul-Sucking Company

Pros

THE PEOPLE. Some of the most genuine, fun, caring people work here and they become part of your family. It is kind of like going through war with your platoon. If you have t*ts you will definitely be hired and likely promoted very quickly.

Cons

Extremely poor morale. Almost everyone is miserable and just waiting on the company to sell so they can get what they hope is a big chunk of change. Everyone openly talks about this except for the CEO who knows what is really going on. This has created such a bitter, distrusting, grumpy group of people who have become lazy because they don't want to put effort into helping a company like this succeed. Understandably. There is a definite favoritism towards certain individuals. They are able to grow and increase responsibilities without showing any real competency in the first place. There are also MANY individuals that have needed to be fired multiple times but continue to receive third, fourth, and fifth chances. They have lost a lot of very smart, hard-working people because the CEO was unwilling to listen to anyone but his few goons that tell him "everything is okay out there". Meanwhile 75% of the company is interviewing and passing around their resume to the rest of the industry. They will continue to lose people and the CEO will continue to stick his head in the sand and pretend everything is rainbows and butterflies.

Pros

Good resume builder. Provides tools and resources for basic phone and email skills. Fast-paced environment, learn how to work under pressure. Flexibility (when it's convenient for them). Most employee's (including some management) are humble, fun, hard-working and honest. They were only reason I stayed as long as I did.

Cons

As long as you are on time, keep your mouth shut and don't voice your opinion...EVER you will be (for the most part) left alone to be over-worked and receive mediocre pay and benefits. Confrontation is avoided from almost all employees, including most of management and talking behind people's backs is standard. All of the long-time employees are very unhappy and will tell anyone, including management that the only reason they are still working there is because the company may sell one day and they will receive a large sum of money. It is disturbing because the 'long-timers' are some of the most amazing people I have EVER met and are stuck working for this soul-sucking company. I am hoping the company sell's soon so they can all leave this negative environment. Their computer system is outdated and they should be working out of SAP to be compatible with most of their customer's. THE MAIN REASON I LEFT WAS DUE TO PARTSSOURCE POLITICS AND FAVORITISM. A few other con's; micromanagement, negativity, poor communication skills, keep people around who suck up and yet don’t perform, thinking only about short-term results, VINDICTIVE and false hopes of advancing.
