      Flexible schedule. I can't think of anything else.

      I have worked for PPH as an RN travel nurse for a little over a year. In that time 4 nurses have quit. "Managers" are constantly rotating into different positions or leave altogether. New policies are instituted every week and then they fade away many times never being mentioned again. It gets confusing to say the least. There is no consideration given to scheduling realistically for busy times. You have to beg for overtime and you are always there overtime because of the unreasonable scheduling.

      Salaries are amongst the worst for given experience level and title. People who are way overqualified for positions are brought in based on false advertisements and description of responsibilities. This place is a turnover machine. Its difficult to recognize teams from month to month due to people leaving so frequently. Middle management is incompetent.Many have no formal business training or background. A willingness to be poorly paid seems to be all it takes to get a job here. You can imagine the backbiting, sabotage, office politics et al that go on here. This company is rotting from within.

      Great employer - Chicago Area franchise

      Pros

      I worked for the Chicago Area franchise. Management was excellent. Passageware is the most streamlined EMR system i've ever used. Low stress job. Very friendly and social patient population, this is a fun nursing job.

      Cons

      Runs on a tight franchise level, not a lot of effective communication higher on the corporate level. Billing is very confusing at places.
