Pros

Great healthcare benefits, on-site childcare, generous retirement benefits. culture seemed to vary by team but generally nice, professional, outdoorsy, mission driven people. cross training opportunities available for new skills/departments

Cons

Very difficult to be promoted from within- people rarely leave management positions and when they do the competition is strong for the role. The company had some growing pains when I was there- small business systems (and people) don't always work well when you become a big ($1Billion) company. There were some personnel/HR issues that were handled VERY poorly. Pay was not exceptional but I always felt that if you took advantage of the many benefits it was fair.
