Pros
Important mission, interesting work. Flexible work policies, with many employees, including local employees, working remotely.
Cons
No longer at the company, but from my experience while there, it's a very white, and very white-dominant organization with, as another review mentioned, very little introspection about this (but plenty of defensiveness). Some token representation and meager DEI efforts for the sake of appearances, tolerated as long as there is no actual challenge to the status quo. In some teams, lack of process seems deliberately enforced, allowing managers to push through self-serving practices that would otherwise be kept in check by robust processes. Overall rewarding of "yes men/women" behavior, combined with the above, further contribute to total lack of accountability, especially for those in leadership positions.
