I have been with Pathways Hospice for over a year now, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best experiences of my career. The pay is above industry standard, which alone makes it a great place to work, but it's the supportive management and company culture that really set this place apart. As a member of the Culture Council, I’ve seen firsthand how dedicated the leadership team is to creating a positive, inclusive, and rewarding work environment. The culture here is truly something special—everyone feels valued, and there’s a strong sense of teamwork and respect. I always feel supported by my managers, who are genuinely invested in my success and well-being. The opportunities for professional growth are abundant, and the work-life balance is great. I’ve found my time here to be not only rewarding but fulfilling. I would highly recommend Pathways Hospice to anyone looking for a company that values its employees and offers meaningful, impactful work.

Cons

I only wish I had started my nursing career here.

Pros

Hospice itself is a fulfilling job but would not recommend this company. Good opportunity to network and find other opportunities with this role.

Cons

Terrible management, they very clearly value the sales part of the job over everything else. Poor pay, poor benefits. No work life balance, despite being a salaried role can be forced to take pto for appointments. Serious lack of concern for employee safety in many ways (including being sent into an active shooter situation). 4 people have quit this role in less than 6 months largely due to lack of support and poor management. STRESS. High stress job, with no care or concern from management. Very high turnover rate, very toxic feel in the company.

Pathways staff believe in and love what they do. They have a true passion for helping others during life's difficult times. Highly respected organization and well known in Northern Colorado. Great benefits: health insurance, retirement, etc. Supportive management and fun team building activities.

Cons

Bonus structure could be higher and/or revamped. Increase PTO time. Dental insurance is expensive.
