      Exciting, and frustrating

      Pros

      Interesting projects, challenging environment. It's always possible to improve processes Not much dead wood - people are sharp Clear procedures to follow to get things done Kids at work day is GREAT! Nice facilities Free on-campus fitness center - great yoga classes

      Cons

      It takes a lot of effort to get buy-in for non-standard process Management doesn't promote from within Lots of competition for promotion because everyone is well-qualified Too much process Cumbersome to get things done with their structure Contractors are given limited privileges

      Not a place I'd tell my friends to work

      Pros

      Pro's - there's a ton of work needed to be done, so never gets boring due to having nothing to do.

      Cons

      Too many to describe. They don't cultivate leaders there at all or hire anyone with good leadership skills Instead they look for someone who is a 'perfect fit' from a resume perspective, then simply hope that they actually know how to do things and know how to manage and develop their people.

      Pros

      Benefits and compensation are ok. The campus is nice and fairly clean. Beyond that they need a ton of improvement.

      Cons

      No opportunity for career growth in Omaha. "Keep it Human" no longer applies as things are becoming more automated. Unfair bonus structure. Management's attempt at cultivating growth involves a lame development packet Work is very repetitive and makes you feel like a robot (because PayPal wants to "Keep it Human" Management for the Risk team is very inept. Tools used to do our job are frequently broken.
