Pros
The goals of PayPal are improving people's financial lives, and goes beyond that to be a positive light in the world. They are fun to work at, and the people are generally wonderful to interact with.
Cons
The only con I can think of is the same for all companies - some people who become managers do so before they have the skills to do so, making employee's life more difficult until they learn how to be a good manager.
