      Pros

      Smart people, explosive opportunity in payments space. Great stated company values. Large variety of projects to work on. Great sense of community at the IC through Director level.

      Cons

      GE mentality has taken over VP and Sr. Director level. Politics and positioning are everything. Calibration curve is used inappropriately on high performing teams forcing sub-standard ratings to be assigned even though everyone is excellent.

      AC buses , Less work for few who are managers favourite :)

      Lot of changes , Moved CQ dept into PD and Forcing the CQ to do Developmeny . This is not the case with PD . Don't join paypal , no job security . Without any reason they Fire people

      Good work life balance,Great learning opportunities, Free snacks and transportation.

      Cons

      Paypal SJ location is good . But in Chennai lot of nepotism. There are some unprofessional managers. Never concentrate on work. Just do time pass and become pimp for their managers or directors whom they report to. When they recruit they say we want only from IITs . but most of managers does not have even professional degree. These managers spend more time in playing Table tennis than with team or on project. Height of their unheeding attitude is after coming back from playing Table tennis again sharpen their skills by watching Table tennis videos online.They do not have vision for product as they never worked on product companies ever before.
