Pros

Excellent benefits package (such as tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/prescription drug coverage) and a willingness to assist with training (in-house or vendor provided).

Cons

Salary compensation for this position is well behind other companies; as a result, employees with great work ethics and skills end up leaving. A great annual review typically results in a 2.5%-3.5% raise...which will just about keep you even with inflation. If you work at the corporate campus, your annual "bonus" is an invitation to the clambake...although there's uncertainty as to whether or not it's taking place this year. Also, the company exhibits a general stubbornness to not embrace (or even consider!) work/life balance policies generally accepted at other companies, such as job sharing or working from home.

Pros

Excellent benefits package and work-environment. They work hard at providing a well balanced benefits package that covers any possible need. They even have a legal package that you can contribute to and get legal advice.

Cons

low salaries, and sales driven company. In general the company compensates their sales reps far better than the rest of the company and it goes downward from their. IT is treated better than the business units, and the branch personell are treated the poorest in terms of compensation.
