Pros

I am a current employee at Paycom. I was hired in the NJ market a little over 4 years ago and I have not looked back! Aside from the fact that the company is experiencing a growth rate unmatched by any competitor, they have still managed to maintain a high value on the employee experience! They have rewarded us for results by sending us on trips to places such as Maui, HI and taking us out once a month for a team building event usually at very nice restaurants. There is a true commitment to our development and personal growth starting from my direct supervisor ending all the way at the very top at our CSO. Our CSO holds training events every 3 months that are not only incredibly helpful but very fun. I have created friendships with people across the country who I would have otherwise never met if ti wasn't for these training events. I have met some of my best friends because of Paycom! I could not have gotten luckier to end up at such an unbelievable place to work!

Cons

There aren't any cons that you would be unaware of. In my capacity, there are weeks where I need to put in more hours than usual but this is expected in a sales role. At the end of the day, your results are a direct reflection of your skill level and effort.

Pros

My career change to Paycom was the best decision I have ever made for myself and my family. Paycom invests just as much in their employee's development as they do in the product. If you have the desire to grow your career and be highly compensated for the work you put in then this is the company for you.

Cons

The first year is a lot of work. It's 100% worth it in the end, but if you're not willing to put in the effort then this position won't be for you.

Pros

• Culture • Pay • Development and Training • Life Skills Development My friend tried to recruit me to Paycom for 6 months and I kept discrediting him because it sounded to good to be true. Finally I really gave him a shot, heard him out, and did an informational interview. I haven't looked back since. This is a job where effort in=reward out. This was my first sales job althoughbut the amount of intensive training and investment Paycom makes into it's new hires will ramp you up to a full fledge sales professional very quickly. Couple that with meeting with C-Level executives day after day and you will gain a skillset in your first year to rival people twice your age. Paycom has a culture that has a startup energy and vibe however they are well established in the market with an exceptional product and as such compensate their employees like no company I have come across. I would highly recommend Paycom to anyone looking for unlimited growth and earning potential.

Cons

The first year is hard. Vacation is limited and pay/compensation structure is different for your first year than it is going forward. You really have to put your head down and grind for the first year sacrificing a work life balance however I look at is as one year of paying your dues for the opportunity to learn an incredible amount and to be making more than any of your peers. If you are up for a challenge this is for you. If you prefer to have a no pressure not challenging job this is not for you.
