We operate within an environment where priorities and expectations are informed by business needs, industry dynamics and organizational goals. As those factors evolve, standards and processes may adjust to ensure alignment with long-term performance. We recognize that navigating change and evolving expectations can be challenging, which is why we aim to provide clear direction, context and resources to ensure that expectations are understood and applied consistently. We acknowledge your feedback and strongly encourage you to discuss it further with your leader directly, along with changes you’d like to see.

Pros

$4 lunch, great people who are all now trauma bonded

Cons

No opportunities to move up. Promotion and raise freeze for two years but apparently that only applies to people who ask for one. Lay-Offs like crazy. Up until laid off, I made 50% less than new hires doing my same role. Let go of entire Product/most of Software department which included analysts, designers, developers, IT, etc. These numbers continue to dwindle. Paycom does it cleverly so they don’t have to issue warn acts, but upwards of near 500 were let go throughout february. Despite preaching Paycom is stable and financially well, outside businesses know otherwise. -25% in workforce in just two years. No one uses their new “AI” which still doesn’t work. All of the reviews that boast 5 stars are either new people, hired by AI to write, or employees were micromanaged to write 4+ stars. You can tell by their copy and pasted script and copy and pasted job titles. So many people talk about leaving but can’t because OKC has little to no other job opportunities so everyone just bites their nails waiting to be laid off. Do yourself a favor and stay away. The stress isn’t worth it.

Accountability and performance expectations are essential to delivering results and sustaining our organization’s success, which is why high expectations are a cornerstone of our culture and standards are consistently maintained to ensure excellence across teams. As a growing organization serving clients at scale, priorities may evolve. This is why communication at Paycom is structured through leadership alignment, goal setting and performance metrics. Employees are expected to engage proactively, seek clarity when needed and take ownership of understanding expectations. Leaders are responsible for providing clear direction, ongoing feedback and access to the resources teams need to be successful. Your experience doesn’t reflect our expectations, and we’d like to learn more about it. Please reach out to hrmgmt@paycomonline.com to connect with our team.
